Hello Grade Fives!
Last week I asked you to tell me about the types of fiction you enjoy. This week, in a paragraph, please tell me nonfiction books you enjoy e.g. How to Draw, Machines, Horses etc.
Just a reminder that a paragraph contains:
a) topic (promise) sentence: what you promise to tell the reader about
b)at least three support sentences (at least): s
pecific examples or details about your topic (where you keep your promise)
c) concluding sentence: where you remind the reader what you promised to tell the reader
Remember to reread your post before submitting it, checking your spelling and punctuation.

I don't really like nonfiction books. I don't know why but I get so bored reading them. I haven't ever really read one that did intrest me. My favorite that I have read is some book on some kind of person that did something I don't really remember. That is my opinion on nonfiction books.
I like drawing books and reptile books. I like drawing books because they help me with art. Ilike reptile books because they help me with sicence. They both also help in geography.
I like nonfiction book's that have something that is fun to see. My favorite kind of nonfiction book's are how to draw, hockey books and animal books. I like drawing book's because the drawing can be exciting and you get to learn how to draw them my favorite drawing book is how to draw 50 holiday decoration's. I like hockey book's that show my favorite hockey player's like Wayne Gretzky and Daniel Sedin and all hockey goalie's my favorite hockey book is Amazing Hockey goalies. I also like animals book's because there can be interesting animals in the book's. Those are my favorite kind of nonfiction book's.

I like to read about things that make me have lingering questions and make me think. I like to get information when I read. When I read nonfiction books, it makes me think how did that happen? or why did it happen? Say I was reading a dinosoar book, I would think, why did the dinosoars get flooded by the caps that melted? How did the caps melt? that sort of thing makes me think.I like to read about things that give me lingering questionsand make me think.

I like to read nature books and animal books and sometimes other books is because!
I like to raed nature books is because I get to now more things about nature.
I like to read diffrent animal books because they tell me cool things and I like animals so I find they are cool and if I ever run in to one I now what to do.
I like other books because they tell me more things and there interresting.So those are some of books that I like to read.
My favorite nonfiction book is draw fifty dinosaurs. I like drawing it is fun it also gives you lot's of practice.dinosaurs are very cool they have lot's of stuff about like lot's of information.that is why my favorite nonfiction is draw fifty dinosaurs.

The book is cald how to take care of guineypigs.
In a book it said that a guineypigs hair can grow to 20cm long!A guineypig will eat more food wene it is cold.Wene a guineypig puts food in it's cheeks that meens it feels like you are going to take the food away.Wene a guineypig has a baby (or a cuple) it will put it in a corner with sawdust to ceep it warm.Wene the guiney bites that meens it feel like you are dayngus.Wene a guineypig bites !bach off!

The book that i like is AINMAL RUSCUE THE RUN AWAY.The secend book that i like is HOW TO DRAW HORSES.The third book that i like is THE JUNBO DRAWING BOOK.
On of my favorite nonfiction book is bear attacks ive read the book 5times.and some of my favorite fiction books are all of robert munches books ilove them.

I like dirt biking books and hunting books to. I also like to read books on the animals in South Africa. I like reading books that tell you about kids and there animal encounters. I like non fiction books as well as fiction. My favorite nonfiction book is book ones that tell you about animals or electirity. I like books about electricity because how it works is very interesting and I want to learn how to make and elictric motor. I like books about animals and bugs because It pretty amazing how little bugs can glow, fly for hours or kill something in minutes. Animals are cool to because some of them are really strong or hit something at 50 km per hour without getting injured (mountain goat) or suvive in the 60 below 0. I think animals, bugs and electricity is very cool, and thats why I like nonfiction books too

there aren't much nonfiction books I like.I don't really know any books that are nonfiction.
Some nonfiction books I like is about animals and insects. I am very interested in those type of books because I always collect bugs and write about them they are so cool. I also love drawing books
especially if there cartoons or bugs, animals, insects . I love fiction books too. I also like books about the native's also I am part native.I like to read nonfiction books.
I dont realy like nonfiction.I get board of them to fast.I have tryed to get into one on horses but I coud'nt get into it it was to boaring.the one book I tryed to read that was nonfiction was the Manual Of Horsemanship.I dont realy like nonfiction books
I like nonfiction books. The hidden girl and Guiness world record book 2010. I like this book because people do incredible things and look funny. I also like the book because some of them look grose. I like nonficton books.
I like some non-fiction books. My favorite non-fiction books are about space. I LOVE space books because one day I want to be an astronomer. Back to non-fiction books. I like them because you can enjoy them and learn something to. Actually I love non-fiction books there awsome. I also like how to draw books because I'm a lousy drawer. I usually get non-fiction books from the school library. I like some non-fiction books.
These are some of my favourite types of nonfiction books. I have to read them if I want facts about something. I like How to Draw books, they are fun. I like a humorous book, which is why I don’t like nonfiction books that much. Those are just some of the nonfiction books I like.
I dont like nonfictiion. Because it doesnt have garfield and diary of a wimpy kid. I like fiction more. fiction has very good books.I mostly buy fiction because it has garfield.
I don't usually like nonfiction books. Sometimes I like them when they're on animals. I once was interested in a subject so I gathered some nonfiction books and I studied them. Also, they're usually not humorous. Once I read a nonfiction book that had stories about cats but they weren't all that great.I don't really like nonfiction books.
I don’t really like to read non fiction books because I don’t have any books to read that are non fiction books. I kind of get a little bored reading them so then I go and play with my Lego. There is one kind of book I like to read and that is the spider wick chronicles. I also like reading beyond the spider wick chronicles. These are the books I like to read.

my favorite non-fiction is Gental Ben. i like Gental Ben because it is about a boy and a bear. the boy hade a dream that the bear died. the boy asked his mom and dad if they could bye the bear. i like Gentl ben because u can not do funny stuff.
These are the nonfiction books that I enjoy. one of the nonfiction books I like are drawing books. Another book is animal facts. The last book I like is machines. these are the books I like.
i like non-fiction books that are about the wilderness. Like how the animals survive in their habitat. I also like books on history one of my favorite times in history is when the people came from eurupe and met the native people. I also like books on the military the battle of stalengrad. those are the non-fiction books that I like.
my favorite nonfiction books are war books. Because I like to learn about the histery of the World War11. My second favorite books are animal books because i like them.
