Hello Grade Fives!

Yesterday, we spent a wonderful day at Nak'albun Elementary in Ft. St. James. Today, in a correct paragraph form, I would like you to tell me about what you learned about First Nations’ culture.

I have learned many things about first nations at Nak’albun.
One of the things I’ve learned there is that they used to
make drums out of moose or elk hide. Another thing I learned about is traps and winter is trapping season. I also learned that tea helps the sick people and that there are a lot of different kinds of teas to help different sicknesses. I learned lots of things about first nations, but the most interesting is that sometimes the drumming helps sooth the sickness and make them feel better. In this paragraph I am going to tell you the learning behaviours I have chosen for the third and final term. One learning behaviour I have chosen is preparing for quizzes,I mostly do but if I am busy (e.g. hockey) I don't have that much time to study so I will make sure that I study before I go to hockey practice.Another learning behaviour is comepleting work more carefully and completly,
the thing I want to work on my coloring on my posters, I always just try to get it done but for the third term I will work on the detail. One more learning behaviour is asking for help when I need it.In this paragraph I told you the learning behaviours for the third and final term.
